2. Have someone read Luke 2:8-20.

3. Talk about the joy the shepherds felt at hearing the news of Christ's birth. Discuss what would happen if He was born today. Who would God choose to hear the good news first?

4. Pray together, remembering that we need to tell people about the joy and love that Jesus brings today.

5. Sing the following carols together:
