List of Carol Pages from Family Christmas OnlineTMOur Family Christmas OnlineTM Music page defines "Christmas carol" and provides an index to well-known carols by their country of origin. We did this because we think it's valuable to recognize how many different cultures have contributed to our understanding of Christmas. But some folks are having trouble finding the carols they need, so we're providing an alphabetical list, too. We expect this list to keep on growing, as we have at least thirty more carols we hope to add before Christmas. About Multiple Titles - Some Christmas songs have two or three well-known titles. The list below includes multiple titles for the same song, to help you find the song easier. So please don't get confused if you click on, say, the Silent Night link and see the words for Stille Nacht first - just scroll down. About MP3 files - You may have noticed that we are including MP3 recordings of these carols instead of MIDI (.mid) files as most sites do. The MP3 files are much larger, but they sound better on most people's computers. We haven't got to all of the carols yet, but we hope to do so in good time. We also hope to add even better-sounding MP3 files in time, as well. As always, if you're looking for something we don't have, please let us know, and we'll do what we can to meet your needs.
As you may have guessed, I especially enjoyed putting the Christmas music pages together because I am a musician myself. Whatever else you get out of our pages, I hope you come away with some great ideas for "sharing the joy." And please stay in touch!
